On April 26, 2022, the Chairman of the Board of FPRI Bolat Nurgaliyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Redzhepov. The organizational issues of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Kazakh of Foreign Policy ResearchInstitute and the Turkmen Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as holding joint events with the Embassy of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries were discussed.

On the same day, there was a meeting in the Institutewith the head of political section of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan D. Allen and his colleague Z. Barter. Bolat Nurgaliyev discussed with american diplomats topical issues of international and regional security and shared assessments of the implementation of key directions of Kazakhstan's foreign policy strategy.
