About Us

The Foreign Policy Research Institute was formed in September 2019 to provide forecasting and analytical materials to the decision makers in the area of foreign policy of Kazakhstan.

Analytical studies are carried out on a planned basis, taking into account information and analytical needs of the sole shareholder - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Applied in nature, they are aimed at promoting Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities, strengthening of cooperation between Kazakhstan, foreign partners and international organizations.
 

International Collaboration

International cooperation of the Institute is implemented through regular joint public events: conferences, seminars and participation in collective research projects on both a bilateral and multilateral basis. Particular attention is paid to regular working contacts with analytical units related to the Foreign Ministries of partner countries. 

To date, the Institute has signed a number of memorandums of understanding with foreign and domestic «think tanks».
