On January 31, 2023, Sergey Savelyev the Senior expert of the Foreign Policy Research Institute took part in the 6th meeting of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan.

In his remarks, S.Savelyev shared his vision of global nuclear arms control situation, and also proposed a research on elimination of biological weapons and relevant infrastructure in Kazakhstan.
