On June 2, 2023, the Chairman of the Board Bolat Nurgaliyev and experts of the Analysis and Forecasting Group of the Foreign Policy Research Institute held a meeting with representatives of the Chief Directorate for Strategy and International Relations of the Ministry of Armed Forces of France who arrived in Astana - head of the Department of Europe, North America and multilateral cooperation Guillaume Ollanier and expert of the Department Panpi Etcheverry. The meeting was also attended by Defense Attache of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan Colonel Jean-Philippe Tardieu.

An exchange of assessments of topical problems in the field of international relations took place with a special emphasis on issues of regional security and role of the Afghan factor.
