On May 17, 2024 Memorandum of Understanding between the Foreign Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of International Relations (IIR) of Nepal was signed online.
The document was signed by Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliev and Secretary General of the IIR Chauyen Lai Shrestha.
By signing the bilateral MOU the parties intend to direct activities of the two analytical structures to promoting relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, promote and intensify multifaceted ties between the two institutions.
