On April 16, 2025, «Egemen Qazaqstan» website published an article on the topic «The Jackson-Vanik Amendment: Free Trade with a Political Overtone». The article provides comments by Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Amangeldy Tazhenov on increased interest of the United States in the Central Asian region and the lack of a real impact of this amendment on the Kazakh-American trade.
