On April 23, 2025, expert of the Institute Almat Toyеkin took part in the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan Azerbaijan Expert Council, organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center of Analysis of International Relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 
The event, including online participation, was attended by heads of analytical centers and government agencies from both countries, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kazakhstan and the Turkic Academy. 
Bilateral relations and energy cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, prospects for development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the Organization of Turkic States were discussed.
