On May 29, 2025 Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev met  President of the French Institute for European Perspective and Security Emmanuel Dupuy, who came to Astana in connection with participation in the Astana International Forum "AIF – 2025". The parties exchanged views on the issues raised by President Kassym - Jomart Tokayev in his speech at the Forum being held in the Kazakh capital. It was noted that it touches upon the most important global issues: from economics and security to ecology and climate. 
B.Nurgaliyev discussed with his interlocutor the state of international and regional security, the current geopolitical situation in the world, the situation in Central Asia and the region's relations with the European Union. 
An agreement was reached to continue the FPRI's contacts with the Institute headed by E.Dupuy.
