On October 24, 2025 expert of the Foreign Policy Research Institute Almat Toyekin participated online in a round table dedicated to the Republic Day of Kazakhstan and the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty, organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai.
 A.Toyekin made a presentation on the issues of state sovereignty of Kazakhstan. The event was also attended by representatives of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakh diplomats. The Chinese side was represented by experts of the Shanghai Academy of International Studies, the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and the Institute of SCO Studies.
