On December 29, 2025, the Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev, held an online meeting with Acting President of the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) Raashid Wali Janjua and his colleagues.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutes, signed in December 2021, the parties exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, including issues of regional connectivity between Central and South Asia. The meeting assessed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan–Pakistan relations and discussed potential joint projects, including collaborative research on topics of mutual interest.
The parties reached an agreement on further developing cooperation and maintaining regular contacts between the institutes.
