On 12 March 2026, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, Manarbek Kabaziyev, participated online in the international conference titled «Challenges and Proposals for Addressing Issues in China –Kazakhstan Cooperation in the Context of Great Power Geopolitical Competition», organized by the Institute of International Relations of Xi’an International Studies University.
The conference was attended by representatives of research and analytical institutions from Kazakhstan and China specializing in international relations, regional security, and economic cooperation.
During the conference, M.Kabaziyev delivered a presentation titled «Prospects for China–Kazakhstan Cooperation Amid Intensifying Geopolitical Competition». In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a sustainable political dialogue and further strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China. He also highlighted the role of infrastructure connectivity, trade and economic interaction, and expert-level cooperation in ensuring stability and development across the Eurasian region.
