On March 20, 2026, a meeting was held at the Foreign Policy Research Institute between Deputy Chairman of the Board Amangeldy Tazhenov, FPRI experts and a delegation from the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
The event was attended by experts from Russian State University for the Humanities, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the National Energy Security Fund, and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, the participants engaged in a substantive exchange of views on current issues of the international agenda and key areas of Kazakhstan–Russia cooperation. The parties discussed mutual expectations of Kazakhstan and Russia in the fields of economy, politics, and security.
