On March 30, 2026 the Foreign Policy Research Institute hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Board Manarbek Kabaziyev and a delegation from MGIMO-University headed by Head of the International Promotion Group Elizaveta Rudenko. The delegation also included Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management and Politics Maria Utkina, and Taisiya Marmontova Head of the Public Foundation «Institute for Regional Integration Research».
During the talks, a thorough exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the scientific, educational, and humanitarian fields. M.Kabaziyev presented main activities of the Institute, emphasizing its role in expert and analytical support of foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also noted high level and progressive development of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the humanitarian field.
E.Rudenko informed about results of international educational initiatives implemented by MGIMO-University, including the event «Laboratory of Future World Leaders» held on the eve, aimed at supporting and professionally developing young specialists in the field of international relations and diplomacy.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening institutional cooperation, expanding academic and expert exchanges, as well as implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening humanitarian ties and developing professional dialogue.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on maintaining regular working contacts and developing new forms of practical cooperation.
