On May 28, 2026 the website of the News Agency «BAQ.KZ» published an analytical article «The New Economic Agenda of the EAEU: what does Kazakhstan offer?», dedicated to priorities of Kazakhstan's presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union and holding of a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana.
The publication presents expert comments by Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev on development of Eurasian integration, digital transformation, transport and logistics interconnectedness and formation of a new economic agenda of the EAEU.
The article emphasizes that during period of Kazakhstan's presidency, special attention is paid to digital transformation, development of artificial intelligence, modernization of transport and logistics infrastructure and strengthening of industrial cooperation. The importance of the theme of the Eurasian Economic Forum, «The EAEU in the Global Digital race: betting on Artificial Intelligence» was also highlighted.
According to M.Kabaziyev, holding of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana confirms growing role of Kazakhstan as one of the key centers of Eurasian integration and regional economic dialogue.
