On June 2, 2026 senior expert of the Foreign Policy Research Institute Sergey Saveliev took part in the conference «Days of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in the Republic of Kazakhstan» in Astana. Issues of cooperation in the nuclear field, new promising areas of research and training were discussed.
The event was attended by Heads of government agencies and scientific community of Kazakhstan, as well as delegations from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Japan, and South Africa. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev delivered a separate message.
