On June 23, 2026 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev gave an interview to International News Agency «Kazinform», dedicated to results of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Brussels.
During the interview, M.Kabaziyev noted that the visit of the Head of State marked the transition of relations between Kazakhstan and the European Union to a new stage of strategic partnership focused on development of transport connectivity, energy, digital technologies, critically important minerals and human capital.
The expert stressed that integration of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route with the European Global Gateway initiative opens up new opportunities for strengthening connectivity between Europe and Asia, and agreements reached in Brussels in transport, logistics and infrastructure sectors give an additional impetus to cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU.
