On 15 July 2026 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev and Institute expert Gulden Kaskarbayeva participated in the presentation of the Fifth Volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China.
The event was jointly organized by the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China, the Foreign Languages Press of China, and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The presentation was attended by representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps, political parties, media organizations, think tanks from Kazakhstan and China, members of the academic community, and representatives of various sectors.
Speaking during the plenary session, M.Kabaziyev noted that the publication, which includes keynote speeches, articles, and discussions by President Xi Jinping, is of considerable interest to expert community and contributes to expanding dialogue on public governance, high-quality development, and international cooperation.
Particular attention was devoted to development of the Kazakhstan–China strategic partnership. It was emphasized that Kazakhstan views its participation in the Belt and Road Initiative not only as an opportunity to strengthen its transit potential, but also as a platform for expanding industrial cooperation, advancing scientific and technological collaboration, and developing new high value-added supply chains.
The participation of the FPRI representatives in the event underscores the Institute's commitment to strengthening expert dialogue with Chinese think tanks and research institutions, expanding academic cooperation, and developing practical recommendations aimed at further enhancing comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China.
