As part of the competitive selection for participation in the 20th international school of the PIR center (Russian political searches) "Global security challenges and strengthening cooperation in the Eurasian space", one of the winners was Osman Dosov, Corporate Secretary of the "Foreign Policy Research Institute" JSC.
The school was helding from September 27 to October 3, 2020 in a hybrid format, including remote participation of citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
This platform consisted of intensive training sessions, including lectures, seminars where participants make presentations, round tables, discussions, a foresight session, and testing of students' knowledge. Students had the opportunity to discuss such topics as global security, national interests and foreign policy, nuclear non-proliferation, arms control, nuclear energy, chemical and biological threats, information security, security in Eurasia and Central Asia in particular.
Reference: PIR center, founded in 1994 by thinktank, is today Russia's leading non-governmental organization specializing in the study of global security, nuclear non-proliferation, international information security and global Internet governance, and countering new challenges and threats. Since 2010, it has consultative status with ECOSOC.
