The main goal of the Institute is to analyze and study global problems and political trends as they pertain to Kazakhstan’s foreign policy initiatives. In a rapidly developing world, where states every day face challenges and upheavals, building appropriate relationships with the international community and pursuing a multi-vector policy are key.
Our main task is to develop recommendations for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country’s leadership in the fields of international politics, economics, national and global security, identify current trends and problems for study, conduct fundamental and applied research in the sphere of external relations. The Institute also interacts with domestic and foreign "think tanks" specializing in foreign policy research field.
