Our Mission
The Institute’s mission is to provide comprehensive analytical support to the process of implementing the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to assist in ensuring a secure and sustainable future for the country by conducting all-compassing applied research in the field of international relations, analysing and forecasting trends in the development of situation in countries and regions which constitute priority for Kazakhstan.

Task
The main task of the Institute is to identify actual changes in world politics and economy, regional and international security, as well as to work out practical recommendations for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the issues of implementation of the Foreign Policy Strategy.
