On February 3, 2023 Deputy Chairman of the Board of «Foreign Policy Research Institute» under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan A.Tazhenov took part in the presentation of S.Kushkumbayev's book "Kazakhstan and Central Asia between challenges from the past and the future", organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In his speech, A. Tazhenov emphasized the growing relevance of Central Asian issues in the current international conditions. Given current  geopolitical turbulence, regional stability is the guarantor of  progressive development of the Central Asian countries. 

The published collection of articles and speeches by a well known Kazakh political scientist S.Kushkumbayev is remarkable for highlighting and in-depth analysis of all key areas of regional cooperation, as well as Kazakhstan's approaches to the development of relations with Central Asian states.
