On March 7, 2023, Chairman of the Board of FPRI Bolat Nurgaliyev met with a delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Association Chen Xiaohan.

B. Nurgaliyev acquainted Chinese colleagues with the main activities of the Institute, shared assessments of current problems of the international situation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board of A. Tazhenov, experts of FPRI, as well as Chairman of «Fund for Peace» of Kazakhstan  Kazybek Shaikh.

Specific areas of cooperation between the Institute and the Association for Peace and Disarmament were discussed with Ms. Chen Xiao Han. There was also a thorough dialogue on development of the Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership in  political, economic and humanitarian spheres, the role of people's diplomacy in strengthening regional cooperation and ensuring the interconnection of the Kazakh «Nurly Zhol» program and the Chinese «One Belt, One Road» initiative.
