On July 12, 2023, the Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev met with a group of foreign journalists (Belgian news agency «NE Global», «Al Watan» Saudi newspaper, Chinese newspapers «China Daily» and «Lianhe Zaobao», Uzbek newspaper «Khalq Suzi», Russian «Arguments and Facts», «Parliamentskaya Gazeta» and «Komsomolskaya Pravda», the Turkish Foundation for Political and Strategic Research «TURPAV»), who arrived in Astana to cover the Central Asian Forum «Asia in the Changing World: Agenda for the Future», organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Answering journalists' questions, B. Nurgaliyev gave an assessment of the current problems of the international situation, challenges and risks in the field of global and regional security, Kazakhstan's activities in international organizations (UN, SCO, CICA, etc.), as well as the state and prospects of Kazakhstan's relations with China, Russia, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
