On June 14, 2024, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute Amangeldy Tazhenov and senior expert Kairat Nurtazin took part in the VII Central Asian Expert Forum «Central Asia: Gravity of Trust» organized jointly by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Kazakhstan.

The event is devoted to discussing prospects for expanding common space between the countries of the region in political, trade, economic, expert and social dimensions. 
The forum participants noted that because of fruitful partnership of five countries, tracks of interstate and regional cooperation have expanded, and subjectivity of Central Asia has increased. Regular meetings of experts promote mutual understanding in the region, as well as stimulate development of recommendations for jointly addressing common challenges.
