On September 26, 2024, Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Amangeldy Tazhenov participated in the International Conference of Analytical Centers of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States «New Agenda for Long-Term Cooperation» in Tashkent.
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the CIS Executive Committee. The event was attended by experts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
A wide range of issues on extensive cooperation in new conditions within the CIS countries was discussed, including prospects of economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
A.Tazhenov made a report at the session «CIS - a Space for Dialogue and Cooperation in the New Conditions», and also took part in the official ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives.
