On May 19, 2025 Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev held a meeting with a delegation of experts of the Institute of Japanese Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences headed by Deputy Director Lyu Yaodong.
A substantive exchange of views on the issues of Kazakhstan–China strategic partnership in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres took place, including regional cooperation in the Central Asia–China format, as well as within the frameworks of the UN, SCO and CICA.
B.Nurgaliyev briefed the Chinese colleagues on the main areas of FPRI’s activities and shared his views on current issues on the international agenda.
The parties reached an agreement on further developing cooperation and maintaining regular contact between the two think tanks.
