On June 3, 2025, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute Amangeldy Tazhenov took part in the V Forum of Analytical Centers «Central Asia – China: New Horizons for Regional Partnership», organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. 
The event included an exchange of expert assessments and opinions on a wide range of issues of cooperation between Central Asian countries and China, and proposals aimed at improving the prospects for multilateral cooperation in the region.
