On January 6, 2026 the FPRI expert Almat Toyekin gave a comment to the Public Television of Azerbaijan (ITV Xəbər) assessing the potential of transport and logistics routes passing through the territory of Azerbaijan. A.Toyekin emphasized increasing role of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route («Middle Corridor») for the economies of Central Asia and the South Caucasus, as well as prospects for the construction of the Zangezur corridor through the territory of Armenia.
