On February 11, 2026 a solemn reception dedicated to Diplomatic Worker's Day was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads and staff of diplomatic missions of foreign states accredited in Kazakhstan, representatives of the media, as well as Russian diplomats and Kazakhstani public figures.
As part of the reception, a video message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov addressed to the staff of diplomatic service was shown.
Special attention during the event was paid to awarding ceremony of Kazakhstani diplomats for their contribution to development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The Medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation «For Cooperation» was awarded to Manarbek Kabaziyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute and Talgat Ibray, Deputy Director of the First CIS Department of the MFA Kazakhstan.
The event became part of protocol events aimed at maintaining and developing interdepartmental dialogue in the field of foreign policy.
