On October 30, 2026 the website of the «Kazinform» News Agency published an article entitled «A New formula for Turkic Unity: What is the Effectiveness of the Initiative Proposed by Astana?». The article features a comment by the FPRI expert Nurzhan Omirbek on expansion of trade and economic cooperation, development of industrial cooperation and removal of barriers to mutual trade between member countries of the Organization of Turkic States. Special attention is paid to importance of the Middle Corridor for expanding Kazakhstan's export opportunities, diversifying transport routes and strengthening the country's economic potential.
