Participation in an international scientific seminar on the formation of a new Eurasian logistics architecture

On April 10, 2026 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev, took part in an international scientific seminar on the topic: «The Middle Corridor and the Belt and Road Initiative: China's Role in Shaping the New Logistics Architecture of Eurasia», organized by the Academy of Social Sciences Gansu Province (PRC) and the Institute for Regional Integration Research.
The event was attended by representatives of leading scientific, expert and analytical centers of Kazakhstan and China, specializing in international economics, transport logistics and regional integration.
During the seminar, special attention was paid to the role of China as a key driver for development of Eurasian infrastructure connectivity within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. In addition, growing role of Central Asia as a strategic transit integration area was noted.
M.Kabaziyev made a presentation on «The Middle Corridor in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative: Deepening Eurasian Connectivity and Partnership between China, Central Asia and Kazakhstan».
Following the event, the participants stressed importance of further deepening  expert dialogue and expanding scientific and analytical cooperation between the research centers of Kazakhstan and China.
