On April 14, 2026 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev held a meeting with Political Affairs Adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Aziz Nasirov, on the initiative of the Uzbek side.
M.Kabaziyev informed about current activities of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, focusing on the ongoing analytical work on comprehensive study of regional cooperation issues.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current state and prospects for development of the Kazakh-Uzbek cooperation both in bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations. Special attention was paid to strengthening practical cooperation in priority areas.
The steady positive dynamics in implementation of joint socio-economic projects was noted. The key role of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in promoting regional security, sustainable development and integration processes in Central Asia was emphasized.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain regular working contacts between the Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazakhstan.
