On June 4, 2021 Chairman of the Board B. Nurgaliyev met with Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Kazakhstan Willy Kempel. During the conversation, the Austrian Ambassador was informed about the activities of the Institute. The interest in establishing contacts with Austrian think tanks, including through online discussions and conferences, as well as joint research on international and regional security and interaction was stressed. The possibility of holding joint events in the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Austria was discussed.
Ambassador W. Kempel expressed his readiness for cooperation and desire to promote the development of partnership with research institutes in Austria dealing with foreign policy issues.
