Research fellows of the Institute of Foreign Policy Research Ambassador Madina Jarbussynova and senior expert Sergey Savelyev took part in the 21st colloquium "NEW TECHNOLOGIES ON THE BATTLEFIELD: Friend or Foe?". The colloquium was held under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the College of Europe.

The topics of the colloquium included issues of artificial intelligence, cyber operations in armed conflicts, a challenge to the international law of use of autonomous weapons systems, as well as restrictions imposed by international law for military operations in outer space among others.
