Meeting of the chairman of the governing board of the "Foreign Policy Researches Institute" JSC Ambassador Aiymdos Bozzhigitov with the heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 12, 2020, the Chairman of the Governing Board of the "Foreign Policy Researches Institute" JSC (Institute) Ambassador Aiymdos Bozzhigitov held a meeting with the heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties had a thorough exchange of views on the most relevant issues of international and regional agenda and Kazakhstan's foreign policy priorities.
Ambassador A.Bozzhigitov acquainted the representatives of the Ministry with the tasks and conceptual foundations of the Institute. The participants of the meeting were introduced with the main directions of analytical studies for 2020, as well as scheduled studies for 2021-2023.
It was emphasized that the researches carried out by the Institute are aimed at assisting in implementation of the Foreign Policy Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan, promoting the country's foreign policy efforts in the international arena, as well as developing relevant recommendations for government bodies. Collaboration with the world's leading think tanks and universities will be an important component in building the Institute’s internal capacity.
The audience got acquainted with the scientific staff of the Institute, represented by experienced workers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including ambassadors.
Kazakh diplomats, for their part, noted the importance of the work of the Institute and its high potential and, in this regard, made a number of recommendations on the inclusion as additional research topics.
Ambassador A.Bozzhigitov confirmed his readiness for further fruitful cooperation with both the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other state bodies of Kazakhstan, as well as with analytical circles.
Following the meeting, the participants agreed to maintain close interaction on a regular basis.
