On September 7, 2021, in the office of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), a presentation was made to the Executive Director of the Secretariat Kairat Sarybai and a group of the Secretariat's employees of the analytical review "Opportunities for cooperation of the CICA countries in accordance with regional strategic agreements" written by the FPRI under the MFA of RK and requested by the CICA Secretariat.

Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliev, speaking at the presentation, noted the importance of expert analysis of the status and prospects for further promotion of the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation N. Nazarbayev to create an effective structure for security and cooperation in Asia. The main provisions of the study and recommendations on the possibilities of combining the potential of Asian regional structures to jointly ensure security and sustainable development of Asian countries, as well as the further institutionalization of CICA as a universal mechanism of interaction were presented to the Secretariat's staff by the director of international structures department of the FPRI Madina Jarbusynova.
