"Combating human trafficking on migration routes"

On October 15, 2021, Madina Jarbussynova, Head of the FPRI Department of international organizations and integration associations took part in the closing ceremony of the national simulation exercises: "Combating human trafficking on migration routes", organized in Almaty from October 11 to 15 this year by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the offices of OSCE, UNHCR and the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.

In her speech, Madina Jarbussynova characterized the current situation with human trafficking in Kazakhstan and noted the need to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation and partnership with civil society and international organizations in order to prevent human trafficking and protect victims of this heinous crime against dignity of a person.

She in conclusion of the event together with the Head of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan, F. Frobart, handed certificates to the participants of the exercises.
