On December 2, 2021, the Chairman of the Board of the FPRI Bolat Nurgaliev online took part in a round table dedicated to the «30 ^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan», organized by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan.

Among the participants were representatives of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies, the Kazakhstan Economic Research Institute and the Institute of World Economics and Politics. The Pakistani side was represented by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kazakhstan and heads of several analytical centers.

Within the framework of this event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Islamabad Policy Research Institute.
