On December 27, 2021, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, together with the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, the Shanghai Institute of International Studies (SIIS), with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, organized an online international scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Kazakhstan and China: 30 years on the path of friendship , good-neighborliness and cooperation ”.

Welcoming speeches were made by the Chairman of the Board Bolat Nurgaliev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the China Galym Koishybaev, President of SIIS Chen Dongxiao and Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the China in Kazakhstan Jiao Huaisin.

The Deputy Chairman of the Board Manarbek Kabaziev made a presentation at the conference, the 1st session was moderated by the Head of the International Cooperation Department Gaukhar Beiseeva. The event was attended by the diplomats of Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai and representatives of Kazakhstan and Chinese institutions and analytical centers.
