On April 26, 2022, Chairman of the Board of FPRI Bolat Nurgaliyev took part in the online presentation of the book by American researcher Togzhan Kasenova “Atomic Steppe. How Kazakhstan Gave Up the Bomb”, organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The author of the book briefed the audience on the main content of her research on the history of nuclear disarmament of our country.

The Chairman of the Board of FPRI shared his reminiscences of some aspects of Kazakhstan's negotiations with main partners on the issue of our country's accession to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons as a non-nuclearstate.
    The event was attended by the leadership and experts of KazISS, researchers of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Eurasian Research Institute and other analytical structures.
