On June 29, 2022, a “round table” was held in Beijing dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the "Charter of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization" and the 15th anniversary of the signing of the "Treaty on Long-term Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation of the SCO Member States".

Welcoming speeches were delivered by the SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the SCO member states. Heads and experts of foreign leading institutes also made presentations.

The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Board Manarbek Kabaziyev online.
