On May 1-4, 2023, Chairman of the FPRI Board  Bolat Nurgaliyev took part in the Baku International Conference «Shaping the Geopolitics of the Greater Eurasia: from  Past to Present to Future", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of outstanding statesman, former President of independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, celebrated on May 10.

The meeting was organized by a leading Azerbaijani university – ADA University. The conference, held in Baku and Shusha, was attended by reputable politicians, researchers of international relations, economists and entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries. A wide range of contemporary geopolitical problems, the role and place of the Eurasian continent in search for optimal responses to current challenges and threats were discussed. President Ilham Aliyev met with the conference participants and shared his assessments of the international and regional situation, as well as Azerbaijan's strategic vision of actual global trends.
