On October 1, 2023, the Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev took part in the commemoration of the 154th Anniversary of outstanding Indian freedom fighter, Mahatma Gandhi organized by the Embassy of the Republic of India in Kazakhstan, as well as the International Non-Violence Day celebrated by the United Nations member states.
    Bolat Nurgaliyev together with Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad laid flowers at the Mahatma Gandhi Statue in the city square of Astana and made a speech marking international significance of spiritual heritage of the great son of  the Indian people (the text of the speech is attached).
