On December 11, 2023, a round table in Islamabad was held on the topic: «The Asian factor of Multilateral Cooperation in the Global and Regional Outline: Current State and Future Prospects», organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan. At the event, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, Bolat Nurgaliyev, the Institute’s expert, Gulden Kaskarbayeva made an online report on the topic «Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship in the SCO».

At panel sessions, the participants discussed current issues on the international agenda, the priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan chairmanship in CICA and the SCO, economic and humanitarian interaction between the two countries.

Parliamentarians, representatives of the foreign affairs offices and leading universities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as experts from think tanks in Kazakhstan and Pakistan took part in the Round Table.
