On September 25-26, 2024, Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev participated in a seminar «CICA as an Effective Multilateral Mechanism for Ensuring Security and Development in Asia» on development of the military-political dimension of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the CICA Secretariat.
The seminar was also attended by diplomats and experts from Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, Iran, India, Qatar, the Republic of Korea, Palestine, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives of academic structures dealing with security issues in Asia.
