On June 10, 2025 Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev and the Institute's experts met a delegation of the German political Foundation named after Friedrich Ebert, which is in Astana as part of a visit to the countries of Central Asia.
A detailed exchange of views took place on the issues of cooperation between the Central Asian states and Kazakhstan with the European Union and Germany, including promising areas for further cooperation and specific projects of interest to both sides.  
B.Nurgaliyev acquainted the German colleagues with main areas of the Institute's activities, shared assessments of current issues on international agenda and the situation in Central Asia and surrounding regions. He answered questions about the state and prospects of cooperation within regional associations such as the SCO, EAEU, CSTO, and the CICA, in which Kazakhstan plays an active role.
An agreement was reached on further maintaining contacts between the two analytical centers.
