On June 16, 2025 Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev gave an interview to the European Branch of the CGTN Media Corporation of China in London on issues of political, trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, as well as the countries of Central Asia. 
In connection with the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan on June 16-17, 2025, during which the Second Central Asia–China Summit with the participation of the heads of state of the region will be held in the Kazakh capital, B.Nurgaliyev answered questions on further promotion of Kazakhstan's comprehensive strategic partnership with China and development of regional cooperation in Central Asia.
