On June 19, 2025 Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev took part in a meeting of the UN Disarmament Fellows with the Heads of the International Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Future disarmament experts, who arrived in Kazakhstan as part of the activities in the framework of the United Nations Disarmament Program, were informed on Kazakhstan's experience in eliminating nuclear weapons infrastructure and given assessments of the general state of affairs in the global field of control over proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
