On November 18-19, 2025 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev participated in the international conference «Joint High-quality Development of the Belt and Road Initiative: Concepts and Actions» in Beijing at the invitation of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, leading сhinese and foreign analytical centers and universities. 
During the event, it was noted that in a period of turbulence and change, the Belt and Road Initiative offers a Chinese approach to addressing global development challenges, providing participating countries with opportunity to work together towards a brighter future. 
M.Kabaziyev made a presentation on «Joint implementation of the One Belt, One Road initiative to stimulate practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and China». 
In addition, an exchange of assessments was held with the forum participants on topical issues of the Kazakh-Chinese cooperation and international agenda. Understanding has been reached on establishing cooperation with a number of foreign analytical structures.
