On February 19, 2026, Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev received a delegation from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI, United Kingdom), headed by the Research Director at the Institute Rosalind Roberts. The delegation was accompanied by the Head of the Political Section of the British Embassy in Astana Samuel Mills.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the key areas of activity of the two analytical institutions, as well as prospects for bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom. They also exchanged views on the current international situation and the state of global and regional security.
